Israel will continue its demilitarization policy in the area south of Damascus and will not allow the Syrian government or its affiliated groups to harm the local Druze population.

Axar.az informs that this was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a video message.

“We have established a clear policy: demilitarization of the area stretching from south of Damascus, through the Golan Heights, to the Druze Mountains (Jabal al-Druze range in southern Syria). That’s the first point. The second is the protection of our Druze brothers,” he said.
