Russia protests U.S. drills near its borders

A strong protest has been lodged with the Japanese Embassy in Moscow over the participation of the U.S. Armed Forces in large-scale military exercises near Russia’s borders.

Axar.az informs that this was stated in a report by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“A firm protest has been delivered to the Japanese Embassy in connection with the large-scale ‘Resolute Force Pacific’ exercises to be conducted by the U.S. Armed Forces from July 9 to August 4 near Russia’s Far Eastern borders and close to military training bases,” the Ministry’s statement said.
