Azerbaijanis hold protest rally outside Armenian embassy

A group of Azerbaijanis living in Poland has held a rally outside the Armenian embassy in Warsaw to protest against the recent armed provocations of Armenia on the contact line of Armenian and Azerbaijani troops, Ramal Mammadli, an Azerbaijani student of the University of Warsaw.

The rally began with the performance of the national anthem of Azerbaijan.

Mammadli said that the protesters chanted different slogans such as “Armenia, get out of Azerbaijani lands!”, “Martyrs, they do not die, homeland is indivisible!”, “Support Azerbaijan in counter-terrorism!”.

More than 50 Azerbaijanis from Wroclaw, Lodz, Krakow and other cities of Poland took part in the rally in Warsaw.

The rally was aimed at showing to the enemy that Azerbaijani young people are in favor of a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, but ready to return to the homeland and join the army in the event of war.

No incident occurred during the rally.
