Houthis claim strikes on Saudi Aramco facilities

Houthi positions in Yemen's Marib and Al Jawf provinces came under airstrikes, according to Yemeni state television.

Axar.az reports that the broadcaster said the strikes targeted Houthi positions and reinforcements in the two provinces.

Meanwhile, the Iran-backed Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement claimed responsibility for missile and drone attacks on facilities operated by Saudi Aramco in the Saudi cities of Yanbu and Jizan.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said on X that the group had carried out "two high-quality military operations" against strategic Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu.

According to Saree, the facilities in Jizan were first targeted with dozens of ballistic missiles and drones, followed by strikes on facilities in Yanbu using ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones.

He claimed that all designated targets had been "successfully hit."

Saree also warned that the Houthis would continue their maritime blockade of Saudi Arabia and said attacks could intensify in the coming hours and days.
