Gabala FC to play Germany's Hertha

Gabala FC U-19 team is going to play German Hertha in its first match in the UEFA Champions League Path II stage today.

Axar.az reports that the team led by head coach Emin Imamaliyev will play its first match at the Gabala City Stadium. The match starts at 17:00. It will be overseen by Kazakh referee brigade under the leadership of Daniyar Sakhi.

The winner of this match will face one of the eight teams that takes the second place in UEFA Champions League Path II stage in 1/16 finals.

Gabala defeated Moldovan Sheriff in the first round and qualified for the next round - 1: 1, 3: 1.

Referees: Daniyar Sakhi, Rustam Matyakubov, Maral Abdikerov (all from Kazakhstan), Ingilab Mammadov (Azerbaijan)

Notably, the second leg will be played on November 28 in Berlin.
