Turkish cinema legend Kadir Inanir dies at 77

Veteran Turkish actor Kadir Inanir, one of the most iconic stars of Turkiye's Yesilcam era, died on Friday at the age of 77 after battling pneumonia and other serious health complications.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, Inanir had been hospitalized in recent weeks after falling ill and was receiving intensive care treatment.

He was later placed on a ventilator after being intubated.

Renowned for his decades-long career in Turkish cinema, Inanir was widely regarded as one of the country's most celebrated actors.
