Azerbaijani businessman Emin Agalarov has announced that renowned Hollywood actor Robert De Niro will attend the opening of the Nobu Hotel at the Sea Breeze project on the Caspian coast.

Axar.az reports that Agalarov made the announcement during a video interview with prominent Kazakh businessman and blogger Beibit Alibeyov.

The businessman said the new project at Sea Breeze would be developed in partnership with the Nobu brand.

According to Agalarov, the complex will include a 100-room hotel, 100 apartments and around six Nobu villas.

“This is the Nobu Hotel. It is my favourite restaurant. They have been my partners for 20 years. I used to have two Nobu restaurants in Moscow,” Agalarov said.

He noted that construction is planned to begin this year, with real estate sales launching in parallel.

Agalarov said the project would bring together a Nobu Spa, Nobu Hotel and Nobu restaurant within a single complex.

According to the businessman, property prices in the project will start at $7,000 per square metre.

It should be noted that Nobu is a renowned global restaurant and hotel brand. Its founders include renowned Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro and businessman Meir Teper.

Nobu restaurants and hotels operate in various countries and are considered part of the premium segment.

It should also be noted that the businessman said last year that the visit would take place this year.
