The former Harry Potter actor believes a reboot of the famous franchise is bound to happen.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that, Daniel Radcliffe won’t be surprised when/if a Harry Potter reboot happens.

The 29-year-old actor opened up about the likely possibility during an interview with IGN while promoting his new TBS comedy series Miracle Workers.

“I’m sure there will be some other version of it; I know I’m not the last Harry Potter I’m gonna see in my lifetime,” he said, while referencing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child actors Jamie Parker and Gareth Reeves, who have both played the famous wizard.

He continued, “It will be interesting to see how long those films stay — it feels like there’s a sacredness around them at the moment, but that’ll go, the shine will wear off at some point.”

If a reboot were to happen, Radcliffe said he wouldn’t begrudge the decision.

“It’ll be interesting if they reboot them and just do the films again or do a series; I’m fascinated to watch,” he said.

While Radcliffe might think a Potter reboot is inevitable, it’s not likely he’ll make a return to the magical world anytime soon.

“To a certain extent with things like the play and Fantastic Beasts, I think people are still interested in talking to me about it, but nothing’s been happening in that area,” he told E! News in May 2018. “At the moment, I’m very much enjoying playing lots of different stuff.”

In 2016, he told The Hollywood Reporter he wouldn’t mind returning, although the actor didn’t make any promises.

“I’m never going to close that door, but I think I’ll be happy enough and secure enough to let someone else play it,” he said at the time.

One of his recent acting jobs includes a starring role in the Broadway play The Lifespan of a Fact in which he stars as Jim Fingal, a tenacious young fact checker who stirs up trouble while checking a news story by a writer (Bobby Cannavale).

Radcliffe’s latest performance is in Miracle Workers playing a low-level angel who must convince God (Steve Buscemi) to let human beings live.
