Turkish Airlines allowed in Lankaran

Azerbaijan's State Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) gave Turkish Airlines a permission to open launch flight route to Lankaran (South-Eastern Azerbaijan).

According to CAA, "Turkish Airlines have requested Azerbaijani aviation authorities for that a number of times and the last request was made in the beggining of summer".

Turkish Airlines are now going to set up an opening date for launching Istanbul Lankaran flight route.

It has been calculated that in the first 7 month of this year Turkish Airlines had 4,4% increase in number of passengers. Thus, the number of passengers reached 35,9 million.

By the end of June the number of destinations of Turkish Airlines have reached 290, the number of liners is 333 and the number of cargo planes is 11.
