EU welcomes Armenia-Turkiye talks

Magdalena Grono, the Special Representative of the European Union (EU) for the South Caucasus, welcomed the results of the sixth meeting of the Special Representatives of Armenia and Turkiye held in Yerevan.

Axar.az reports that Grono shared this on her X social network account.

"I wholeheartedly welcome the sixth meeting between the Special Representatives of Armenia and Turkiye - Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kilic - that took place today. Today's dynamics and the statements made are encouraging," she stressed.

Grono noted that the EU continues to closely monitor the normalization and peace processes between Armenia and Turkiye and intends to support the efforts of the parties aimed at achieving lasting peace, developing regional cooperation, and strengthening ties and reconciliation.
