Kursad Zorlu, Deputy Chairman of Turkiye’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and head of the Directorate for Relations with Turkic States, is visiting Nakhchivan.

Axar.az informs he shared the information on his X account.

"Today, our first stop along the Nakhchivan–Ighdir route will be Nakhchivan, one of the strategic centers of the Turkic world, the “Turkic Gate.”

In the coming period, the peace and prosperity that the Azerbaijan-Turkiye brotherhood will bring to our region will rise from the Nakhchivan route," he wrote.

On September 12, a delegation led by Kursad Zorlu visited the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).

During the visit, the delegation paid a visit to the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, located in Nakhchivan’s main square.
