Azerbaijan’s population has grown by 20,654 people, or 0.2 percent, since the beginning of the year, reaching 10,245,543 as of August 1, 2025.

Axar.az informs the State Statistics Committee reported that 54.4 percent of the population live in cities and 45.6 percent in rural areas, with 49.8 percent men and 50.2 percent women.
