UAE intercepted two UAVs launched from Iran

The United Arab Emirates’ air defense forces have engaged two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing the UAE Ministry of Defense, that since the onset of what it described as “blatant Iranian attacks,” UAE air defense systems have engaged a total of 551 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,265 UAVs.

The statement noted that no new casualties have been reported in the past hours. It added that the total death toll stands at 13 civilians of various nationalities, while the number of injured has reached 230.

The UAE Ministry of Defense reaffirmed that it remains fully prepared to counter any threats and will respond firmly to any attempts to undermine the country’s security, sovereignty, and stability.
