Erdogan, Nawrocki hold talks in Ankara

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has met with his Polish counterpart Karol Nawrocki in Ankara.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the two leaders held a one-on-one meeting, followed by a joint press conference.

Erdogan said that Turkiye and Poland, as two important NATO allies, aim to strengthen cooperation in Europe’s security and defense architecture ahead of the upcoming NATO summit.

He also stated that the two countries have set a new target of increasing bilateral trade turnover to $15 billion, after previously achieving their $10 billion target.

It was noted that Nawrocki is on an official visit to Turkiye.
