Shehbaz: MoU does not cover Iranian ballistic missiles

The issue of ballistic missiles was not included or discussed in the memorandum of understanding signed in Islamabad.

Axar.az, citing The Dawn, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made the remarks during the talks with Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian.

“This MoU does not mention ballistic missiles at all. It was never on the table, it was never on the agenda, and the Iranian side never wanted to discuss it. This is not an impression, but a fact,” Sharif said.

He added that the agreement should not be undermined by those seeking to sabotage it, stressing that “there cannot be double standards” regarding ballistic missiles.
