In January-April of this year, Azerbaijan imported 2,239 tons of kerosene fuel (excluding kerosene fuel for jet engines) worth $3.6 million.

Axar.az reports that this is three times higher in value terms and 3.3 times higher in volume compared with the same period last year.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 1,309 tons of the product from Belgium worth $2.2 million (three times more than a year earlier in value terms), 818 tons from Iran worth $981,000 (981 times more in value terms), 58 tons from China worth $186,000 (down 27%), 45 tons from South Korea worth $88,000 (down 4%), and 2.93 tons from the United States worth $43,000 (2.5 times more in value terms).

In 2025, 94.6% of the 6,598 tons of kerosene imported by Azerbaijan came from Belgium.
