5 magnitude earthquake shakes Tajikistan

A magnitude 5 earthquake shook the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe.

Axar.az reports that, the statement came from Umeda Yusif, spokeswoman for the Tajik Emergency Situations Committee.

"The epicenter of the 5-magnitude earthquake was in the Vahdat district, 5 kilometers from Dushanbe," Yusif said. No casualties or damage were reported.
