First Deputy Defense Minister - Chief of General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel-General Karim Valiyev inspected the combat readiness of military units stationed in the Kalbajar region.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the Defense Ministry.

The Chief of General Staff got acquainted with the organization of military service and combat duty, as well as the social and living conditions of servicemen.

It was noted that thanks to the attention and care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, all necessary conditions have been created to ensure a high level of combat readiness for troops.

Colonel-General K.Valiyev met with the personnel on combat duty in the Kalbajar region of the state border, inquired about their care, rewarded the distinguished servicemen, and wished them success in their future service.

Then, the Chief of General Staff held a service meeting with the commanding staff of the military unit. Colonel-General K. Valiyev conveyed the tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to the Azerbaijani Army to the meeting participants.
