The Eastern Bazaar complex in Baku has been put into operation after restoration and reconstruction.

Axar.az reports that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the conditions created at the complex.

The President and the First Lady were informed that special attention was paid to a number of nuances during the restoration and reconstruction of the Eastern Bazaar complex. The main tasks of the project team during the restoration were to preserve the original concept and to preserve the special elements. During the reconstruction of the complex, maximum use was made of local materials, as well as special attention was paid to the application of modern technology and equipment.
