Qarabag FK are closing in on another transfer, with French forward Jali Mouaddib set to join the club from Cypriot side AC Omonia.

Axar.az reports that the move has been officially confirmed by Omonia general manager Giorgos Irakleous.

Speaking to Sport FM, he said that all terms between the player and the Azerbaijani champions have already been agreed:

“Mouaddib had already reached an agreement with Qarabag and will not stay with our team next season. He informed us earlier that Qarabag were interested in him. Still, he promised to help us until the end of the season.”

The 25-year-old winger’s contract with Omonia expires at the end of the season. This season, he has made 31 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 7 assists. He also played for France’s U-19 national team in 2019.
