As we reported, municipal elections are being held in Turkiye today.

Axar.az reports that the citizens who came to the election in unusual clothes attracted attention.

Thus, a 63-year-old voter came to the polling station in the Cukurova district of Adana and voted in national clothes. In Duzce, a 34-year-old citizen came to the station in an astronaut outfit. He said that he was influenced by Alper Gezeravci, the first cosmonaut of Turkiye.

In Bornova and Bayragli districts of Izmir, horse trainer Faruk Ceren and his student Melisa Onuk came to the polling station and voted on horseback.

69-year-old Huseyn Shen, who is known as the "King of Adana" among the population in Adana, arrived at the polling station in a royal costume. He said that he wanted to promote Adana voluntarily.
