On June 8, a Su-57 fighter was destroyed at the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan region.

Axar.az reports that the General Intelligence Service of Ukraine has released information about this with reference to satellite images taken from the airfield.

"In a video recorded on June 7, the Su-57 is completely stationary, and in the video taken on June 8, craters and fire marks can be seen around it from the explosion. This is the first Su-57 to be destroyed," the information stated.

Russian "Fighterbomber" Telegram channel confirmed the attack on Akhtubinsk airfield.

According to the channel, the Su-57 fighter jet at the airfield was damaged.

It should be noted that the Su-57 is Russia's most modern multi-purpose fighter.
