Bayramov, Fidan discuss regional security and cooperation

On December 3, 2025, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council meeting.

Axar.az informs the ministers discussed the overall development of the strong friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, as well as the broader regional security situation and ongoing efforts to ensure peace and stability.

They emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level political dialogue between the two countries.

The sides also reviewed prospects for cooperation in the economy and trade, energy, and transport-communication projects, including regional connectivity initiatives.

Highlighting the value of close cooperation within international organizations, the ministers noted that mutual support between Azerbaijan and Türkiye contributes positively to regional collaboration.

They also exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues.
