President of the State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Mahmoud Abbas, sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that the letter states:

"Dear Mr. President.

I extend my sincere congratulations to you on your birthday, and I wish Your Excellency a long life, happiness, and continued success.

At the same time, I congratulate you on the occasion of the New Year - 2026. I pray to God Almighty that the New Year and the coming years bring happiness, blessings, peace, and success to you, your people, and all nations.

Your Excellency, I ask you to accept my brotherly greetings."
