Denmark urges U.S. to respect Greenland’s integrity

Denmark has called on the United States to respect Greenland’s territorial integrity.

Axar.az reports that this came after the wife of Stephen Miller, Deputy Assistant to the President for Policy and National Security, shared on social media a map of Greenland depicted in the colors of the U.S. flag with the caption “soon.”

Danish diplomat Peter Sørensen commented on the issue, saying that the U.S. and Denmark are NATO allies and that Washington must respect the kingdom’s territorial integrity:

“Such posts go against the spirit of alliance and are a cause for serious concern,” he said.
