Araghchi urges Macron to listen public demand

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has accused French President Emmanuel Macron of supporting atrocities against Iranians and said the French people are demanding sweeping political change.

Axar.az reports that Araghchi made the remarks in a post on X.

"Mr. Macron made his bed when he assured POTUS that he welcomes atrocities against Iranians. Too late to blame the war his ilk helped cause. The French people demand wholesale change, including freedom of assembly. Listen to the future of France, Mr. President," he said.

It should be noted that mass unrest involving nearly 500,000 people has erupted in France. More than 1,200 protesters were detained during demonstrations held on Saturday.
