On March 5, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, spoke with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov by phone.

Axar.az informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the call addressed concerns over the Iranian drone attacks on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Minister Bayramov provided detailed information about the attacks, noting that these strikes on Azerbaijani territory violate international law and norms and contribute to rising tensions in the region.

The Azerbaijani side stressed that Iran must promptly clarify the situation, provide explanations, and take urgent measures to ensure such incidents do not happen again.
