Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Axar.az informs that during the call, both sides strongly condemned yesterday’s missile strike on Turkiye and today’s drone attack on Azerbaijan by the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing that such attacks are completely unacceptable.

The discussion highlighted that these incidents violate international law and its principles and serve to escalate tensions in the region.

It was also noted that, to ensure the safety of flights to Nakhchivan, air traffic will be temporarily redirected to Igdir Airport.

The ministers underscored the importance of continuing coordination in line with the strategic alliance between the two countries.
