1,899 people evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan between February 28 and March 8.

Axar.az reports that from 8:00 AM on February 28 to 6:00 PM on March 8, a total of 1,899 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.

Of these, 314 were Azerbaijani citizens.

The remaining evacuees included:

538 Chinese, 290 Russian, 173 Tajik, 123 Pakistani, 57 Omani, 44 Italian, 32 Indonesian, 26 Spanish, 26 Iranian, 18 Saudi, 17 Japanese, 16 French, 14 German, 13 Georgian, 12 Uzbek, 10 Bulgarian, 10 Congolese (DRC), 10 Nigerian, 8 Brazilian, 8 British, 8 Kazakh, 7 Belarusian, 6 Emirati, 6 Slovak, 6 Canadian, 5 Serbian, 5 Afghan, 5 Czech, 5 Swiss, 5 Austrian, 4 Bahraini, 4 Jordanian, 4 Sri Lankan, 4 Ukrainian, 4 Turkish, 4 Hungarian, 4 Belgian, 4 Kuwaiti, 3 Filipino, 3 Qatari, 3 Mexican, 3 Finnish, 3 Romanian, 3 Croatian, 4 Bangladeshi, 2 Nepali, 2 Lebanese, 2 Yemeni, 2 Kyrgyz, 2 Sudanese, 2 Indian, 2 Cypriot, 1 Polish, 1 Tunisian, 1 South African, 1 Maldivian, 1 Myanmar, 1 Cuban, and 1 each from Sweden, Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Egypt, and the USA.

It is noted that the evacuees include staff from diplomatic missions.
