Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister meets Turkish Minister

On March 13, Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkiye Murat Kurum.

Axar.az reports during the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of the 13th Global Baku Forum, while commending the organization of panel discussions on the COP and climate agenda on the sidelines of the event.

They also discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkiye in the fields of environmental protection, waste management, and combating climate change.

The parties stressed the importance of the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13) scheduled to take place in Baku in 2026.
