Kazakh citizens vote for new constitution in Baku

Voting is underway at Kazakhstan’s embassy in Baku as part of the referendum on the country’s new constitution.

Axar.az, informs the embassy reported that as of 16:00 local time, 162 of the 200 registered voters had cast their ballots.

Participants include students from Azerbaijani universities, staff from international organizations and Kazakh company branches in Azerbaijan, tourists, as well as parents and teachers of Kazakh schoolchildren visiting Baku for the International STEM Olympiad.

The embassy polling station will remain open until 20:00 Baku time.
