Speaking at the General Debate of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly, US President Donald Trump touched on the Azerbaijan–Armenia peace process.

Axar.az reports that Trump mentioned the long-standing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia among the conflicts he said he had helped resolve, citing remarks by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“The President of Azerbaijan said: "President Trump, in six months, did a miracle." It was an absolute miracle that nobody thought could be done,” he emphasized.

The U.S. President further noted that nearly all countries involved in the conflicts he had helped resolve had sent him letters expressing their gratitude.
