Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Presidential Administration head Samir Nuriyev, Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova and other state and government officials visited Victory Park in Baku on September 27 – Remembrance Day.

Axar.az reports that the state and government officials laid bouquets of flowers at the memorial stone and honored the memory of the martyrs.

It should be noted that, under an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on December 2, 2020, September 27 is observed annually in Azerbaijan as Remembrance Day as a mark of deep respect for the soldiers and officers who fought heroically in the Patriotic War and sacrificed their lives for the country’s territorial integrity, as well as for all martyrs.
