Czech Republic ready to create agro-enterprises in Azerbaijan

In recent years, Azerbaijan has demonstrated strong economic growth and, as a result, the country is considered the leader in the region, President of the Union of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic Jaroslav Hanak said at the Azerbaijan-Czech Business Forum in Baku.

Axar.az reports citing Trend.

Hanak noted that the Czech Republic attaches great importance to the fact that Azerbaijan is the guarantor of Europe’s energy security.

“We are one of the most developed countries in Europe in the field of industry and we propose to establish close cooperation in this sphere, as we could share our experience in expanding these two important areas,” he said. “In addition, the Czech Republic is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in agriculture and investment. For example, we might build agricultural enterprises used in the livestock sector in Azerbaijan.”

He added that the Czech Republic is one of the leaders in the field of modern nano-technologies, bio-technologies, and also in the field of IT technologies.

“We believe that the cooperation of Azerbaijan with the Czech Republic in these areas, as well as the exchange of experience might bring mutual benefits to the two states,” said Hanak.
