Serbia will never renounce Kosovo, will not join anti-Russia sanctions, and will pursue an independent policy for the sake of its people.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

"Serbia must pursue a Serbian policy that protects and defends Serbia. Believe me, there is no other policy. We are not the ones to join sanctions at someone else's request. If we are not allowed to pursue an independent policy, and if we cannot make decisions about ourselves and our future, then what is the point of having a government?!" he stated.

"We will never renounce Kosovo and Metohija, no matter how much they demand or what they offer..." the president added.
