As the host country of COP29, Azerbaijan has elevated its cooperation with Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to a higher level. Their voices must be heard on the global stage today.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev expressed this view during his speech at the SIDS Summit held on November 13 within the framework of COP29.

"I call on developed countries, especially those with a colonial past, to assist small island nations," the head of state said.
