Armenia’s peace perspective differs from Russia’s

Each country's foreign minister provides comments based on their own state's interests, views, and perceptions.

Axar.az reports that these words were spoken by Armenia's Foreign Minister, Ararat Mirzoyan, during a parliamentary session in response to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s statement that “Russia is not urging the sides to rush into peace.”

"My Russian counterpart presented Russia's perspective. I can only envision Armenia's perspective, which, in this case, is different," Mirzoyan said.

He noted that Yerevan is interested in concluding a comprehensive peace agreement with Azerbaijan as soon as possible and in normalizing relations in all areas, including delimitation and the opening of communications.
