On November 13, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

Axar.az reports that greeting the Head of the Russian Government, President Ilham Aliyev said:

"I am glad to see you. Thank you for taking the time to come. I am very pleased that Russia is represented at a high level at this conference. I am confident that your personal participation in the discussions will give it special significance."

He also expressed gratitude to the Russian Federation for its support during the decision-making process for hosting COP29 in Baku and during the preparation for the conference. "For us, this is an exceptional event. Such large-scale events have never been held in Azerbaijan. We are pleased that our friendly countries are actively participating and are highly represented at this event."

"Of course, as always, this is a good opportunity to review our bilateral agenda. Lately, I have been meeting frequently with Vladimir Vladimirovich, but still, the agenda of our relations is so broad that it feels necessary to regularly check all the work done and determine the directions for future development."

The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin said:
