Azerbaijani MFA refutes false information on air crash causes

The information regarding the crash of the AZAL passenger airplane is spread in social networks on behalf of the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizada.

Axar.az reports that in response to the inquiry, the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, Aykhan Hajizada, has stated that this information is false.

This fake information on behalf of Aykhan Hajizada informs that preliminary results of the investigation of the crash confirm the version about the alleged collision of the airplane with birds.

To note, an AZAL passenger plane flying Baku-Grozny crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan on December 25, 2024. Out of 67 people on board, 38 were dead.
