Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov waited in line to vote in the municipal elections.

Axar.az reports that the minister exercised his right to vote at polling station No. 29 of Nasimi-Sabail constituency No. 23.

Z. Hasanov approached the table where the members of the precinct election commission were sitting to pick up his ballot. At that time, there were other voters there. The Defense Minister was offered to be given a ballot without waiting in line. However, he did not agree to this and waited.

When his turn came, Z. Hasanov took the ballot, went to the voting booth, exercised his right to vote, and left the polling station.

It should be noted that municipal elections were held in Azerbaijan today - on January 29.
