Georgia is committed to stability and peace in the region.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by visiting Georgian foreign minister Maka Botchorishvili at a joint press conference with her Armenian colleague, Ararat Mirzoyan, in Yerevan.

"I hope that the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be acceptable to both sides and will enable the achievement of peace and stability. Georgia, for its part, is ready to cooperate with its neighbors in this regard," she said.

Also, the Georgian foreign minister stated that “when we talk about security challenges in the region, we should mention the challenges that arise from Russia, which has occupied the regions of Georgia.”
