President Trump has signed settlement papers that are expected to require Meta to pay roughly $25 million as part of resolving a lawsuit he filed in 2021 due to the blocking of his Facebook and Instagram accounts following the Capitol riots.

Axar.az reports that Wall Street Journal shared this news.

According to the publication, $22 million will be donated to a fund for Mr. Trump's presidential library, and the rest will be used for legal fees and go to other plaintiffs on the case.

Notebly Meta's owner, Mark Zuckerberg, is working to improve relations with Trump to protect the corporation from potential restrictions by the new administration.
