Armenia ready to host next ‘3+3’ ministerial meeting

Armenia is ready to host the next ministerial meeting in the “3+3” format.

Axar.az informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia told Sputnik Armenia in response to its written request.

Russian ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin had announced earlier that the next meetings of the “3+3” regional cooperation platform should be held in Armenia and Azerbaijan—and in the order determined by the parties.

“Already on October 18, 2024, within the framework of the 3rd meeting of the ‘3+3’ regional consultative platform held in Istanbul, Armenia announced its readiness to host the next meeting of the [foreign] ministers [of the participating countries],” the Armenian MFA said in its response.

The ministry added that the general public will be informed about the dates and venue of the next meeting as soon as they are clear.

The last meeting of the “3+3” platform was held in Istanbul, Turkiye in October 2024.
