Barcelona winger Lamin Yamal has set a new record in La Liga.

Axar.az reports that the 17-year-old became the best assister in the recently concluded Spanish championship with 13 assists.

It was reported that since the beginning of the 21st century, no player under the age of 20 has made so many assists in La Liga in a single season.

The Spaniard has scored 18 goals and made 25 assists in 55 matches in all competitions for Hans-Dieter Flick's team.

It should be noted that Lamin Yamal previously held the record for the most goals scored by a player in a single season in the Spanish La Liga at the age of 17.
