Polish President Andrzej Duda sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Axar.az reports that the congratulatory message reads:
"On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on behalf of the Republic of Poland and the Polish people, as well as on my behalf, I have the honor to convey my congratulations and best wishes to you, your country, and all its citizens.
I am glad that the very good and friendly bilateral relations between the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Azerbaijan have expanded greatly in recent years.
I remember with pleasure my presence in Baku at the COP29 climate conference last year and our meeting with you. The successful holding of such a major event is the most beautiful example of the dynamically growing opportunities and importance of Azerbaijan.
Poland considers Azerbaijan an important partner in the South Caucasus region, and we want to deepen cooperation with Azerbaijan in many areas. I am particularly interested in the development of mutually beneficial economic cooperation and its raising to a level commensurate with the ever-growing economic potential of our countries. In addition, I would like to assure you that Poland is always ready to further develop all areas of cooperation beneficial to our countries, both in a bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations, including the European Union and the Eastern Partnership format. I wish you good health, great success in the comprehensive development of your country, and prosperity and peace to all residents of the Republic of Azerbaijan."
