Kazakhstan to release AZAL crash report by year-end

The authorities of Kazakhstan will provide information on the investigation of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane crash near Aktau airport by the end of the current year.

Axar.az informs this was stated by Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Transport Maksat Kaliakparov at a briefing.

“The investigation is ongoing. Preliminary results were fully presented by the relevant commission after three months. A deeper investigation is currently underway, involving complex expertise and detailed work. Once completed, the final report will be fully presented, just like the previous preliminary report,” Kaliakparov said.
