Kalbajar’s Zar village to be relocated by end of 2026

Residents of the Zar village of Kalbajar are planned to be relocated by the end of next year.

Axar.az reports that Bashir Hajiyev, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Kalbajar, said this in his speech before the concert program organized on the occasion of the City Day.

According to him, construction has already begun in the village.

“Relevant steps are being taken to attract private investment to Kalbajar. Initiatives put forward to create commercial and multifunctional zones are being considered with relevant agencies. Several projects are in the process of implementation. Modular entrepreneurial facilities have been established in the area to meet the primary consumer needs of the population.”
