Pashinyan says Kazakhstan shows interest in TRIPP project

Kazakhstan has expressed interest in the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project.

Axar.az informs this was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a briefing.

“Kazakhstan has not concealed its interest in TRIPP since August. What may have attracted them is the opening of a new international transport route. As you know, Kazakhstan is one of the major players in the global transport sector, particularly in the flow of goods to and from China. Our partners from Kazakhstan are trying to better understand what transport opportunities will open up and how this will affect them,” he said.

The prime minister noted that Kazakhstan is not the only country showing interest in the project.

“This is an open process, and we are not preparing to hide it from our partners. Naturally, we must also be ready to invite Kazakhstan to use the routes passing through Armenia for their exports and imports, and to consider these routes as part of their transport chain,” Pashinyan added.
