President Ilham Aliyev has approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey on the supply of natural gas.

Axar.az reports that Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to this effect.

According to the decree, after the entry into force of the Memorandum of Understanding, the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must notify the Turkish government of the implementation of internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Memorandum of Understanding.
