Deputy Minister of Defense - Commander of the Air Force Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov visited the National Defense University of this country within the framework of his visit to the United States of America.

After getting acquainted with the university, Lieutenant General R. Tahirov met with the 17th President of the National Defense University (NDU) of the USA, Lieutenant General Mike T. Plein.

The parties exchanged views on the study of the US military education system and MMU's experience in this field. Lieutenant General R. Tahirov gave detailed information about the newly established National Defense University in Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of military education between Azerbaijan and the United States and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
